XWatch Gets the Zabbix alarm to the right person
XWatch takes the alarm from Zabbix and runs the on-call scenario you drew, step by step: it calls the right person, moves to the next if nobody answers, sends an SMS and opens the ticket once someone takes it. It never touches your servers or network devices; it watches, tells people and records.
What it does
- 01
Filters the alarm
You decide which severity, at which hours, on which device group starts a scenario; the rest is recorded quietly.
- 02
Calls the on-call person
It calls the on-call list in order. On the phone, a key press takes the incident or passes it on.
- 03
Escalates when nobody answers
If nobody picks up it texts the list, then moves up a level. The waiting times are written in your scenario.
- 04
Opens the ticket
Once someone takes it, it opens the ITSM ticket and notes the alarm details and the call history on it.
- 05
Follows the close
When Zabbix reports the problem resolved, it adds a note to the ticket and records how long it stayed open.
- 06
Gathers alarm storms · coming
It joins alarms from the same root into one incident with AI, so the team is called once.
How it works
- Detects
Zabbix reports a problem; XWatch finds what your scenario says for that alarm.
- Plans the action
Who is called, in what order and how many minutes apart is written in your scenario; XWatch sets up that sequence.
- Hands you the control
A person takes the incident: by key press, SMS reply or link. XWatch only tells people.
- Records it
Every call, SMS and answer is written to your portal and the ITSM ticket, to the second.
What it never touches
- It changes nothing on your servers, network devices or configuration.
- In Zabbix it writes only the acknowledgement and a comment, and only if you allow it.
- It calls or texts nobody who is not in the scenario.
