XOperate Checks at night, reports in the morning
XOperate does the night checks for you: did the backups run, did the patches install, are the disks filling up. When it finds a problem it writes the cause, opens a ticket and leaves the team a short report in the morning. If something on a system has to change, it writes what it will do, why and how to roll it back, and asks for your approval first.
What it does
- 01
Verifies backups
Every night it checks which jobs succeeded and which are missing.
- 02
Tracks patches
It lists pending and failed patches, system by system.
- 03
Watches capacity
It warns ahead about disks about to fill and certificates and licences about to expire.
- 04
Writes the cause
It reads the logs for why a problem happened and records a short explanation.
- 05
Leaves a morning report
One page to the team: what was checked overnight and what was not right.
- 06
Changes with approval
If an action such as freeing space is needed it writes it to the approval queue and acts once you approve.
How it works
- Detects
It runs the night checks at the hours you set and finds the problems.
- Plans the action
It writes what should be done, why, and how to roll it back, as a request.
- Hands you the control
The request lands in your approval queue; you approve or reject it. If nobody answers, it goes to the XSecure SOC.
- Records it
Checks, requests and decisions are recorded in your portal with their times.
What it never touches
- It makes no change that has not passed the approval queue.
- It starts nothing outside the maintenance hours you set.
- It does not retry a rejected request on its own.
What it connects to
- Source
- Backup software, patch management
- Action
- ITSM ticket, email, morning report
- Changes
- Only through the approval queue, with your approval
